Thanks to the K.M. Hunter Foundation for the support of our Indigenous Author Series
Thanks to the KM Hunter Foundation, The Thunder Bay Public Library is happy to bring in Helen Knott, who is a Dane Zaa and Nehiyaw (Cree) writer and activist from Treaty 8 territory. We are proud to host her as she reads from her acclaimed works… blending poetry, memoir, and advocacy on Indigenous rights, reconciliation, and healing.

Located in Thunder Bay’s north core, Waverley Library offers drop-in and registered programs for all ages, as well as a large collection.
We acknowledge that the City of Thunder Bay has been built on the traditional territory of Fort William First Nation, signatory to the Robinson Superior Treaty of 1850. We also recognize the contributions made to our community by the Métis people.
