Practising Presence provides a supportive, non-denominational environment for the study of mindfulness based texts through discussion and practical application of spiritual principles. The group aims to expand self-awareness and ability to thrive.
Members of Practising Presence meet to:
-Foster friendships while respecting diversity
-Encourage personal insight, inner awareness, and spiritual practice
-Provide a safe, welcoming space for thoughtful discussion and shared learning
-Promote values of kindness, non-judgment, and peace
Group activities may include, but are not limited to:
-Weekly in person meetings (Zoom available)
-Reading and discussion of currently chosen texts and lessons
-Study of supplementary spiritual or philosophical writings
-Guided reflection, meditation, or contemplative practices
-Group dialogue and experiential sharing
